Service Description

This is an introductory course for those who want to try pottery making. Over three hours, you will learn the basics together with either Sara or Julia and try creating your own objects on a pottery wheel. The focus is on the experience, the craft and getting to know the clay – not on perfection. This is included: – Introduction to pottery making and the pottery wheel – Supervision throughout the course – 700 grams of clay – Tools and loan of an apron – Filling, glazing and firing are included but are done after the course by the instructors – Possibility to have finished products sent home for an extra fee About your products 🌱 After the course, we will take care of the continued work: your products are filled, glazed and fired in several steps. Ceramics is a craft and each product is unique. Sometimes there may be small air bubbles in the clay or tensions in the material that cause an object to crack or break during firing. Unfortunately, accidents can also occur during handling and transport. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that all products will survive the entire process. We always do our best to handle them carefully and professionally. Regardless of the result, the course is a creative experience and an opportunity to try turning and work with a living material. Collection & delivery When the products are ready, we will contact you. You can choose to: – pick them up at the studio – or have them shipped for an additional fee
